Fastest Thing Alive...
The April Fool's joke about unlocking Sonic the Hedgehog has become part of Super Smash Bros lore...Now, players are eagerly waiting to see if Sonic will be featured in SSB BRAWL!.
Apparently, BRAWL may have 2 or 3 non-Nintendo fighters... Although Solid Snake is the only one confirmed so far. (view Characters)
Sonic would definitely be a cool addition, but I have a feeling that it just won't happen.

sonic would be weird seeing how hes a racer not a fighter, sonic would only be okay if knuckles was too
If Sonic were included, I`d expect him to be a bit of a speed demon like Captain Falcon.
I heard that Pac-man mite be voted into brawl if he is his moves would be so sweet! Oh and i heard Ryu from street fighter mite be voted as well, but i doubt that imean you cant have a game with Ryu in it with out a Ken!
Actually i heard alot character polls for brawl like bomberman, Megaman, Ryu, sonic,Pac-man, even the little ghost things from pac man.
well my friends chat with the creator of pikmin and theres over 60 characters.i don`t there is 60 characters .i will buy the game to see if it true.if nintendo put sonic characters in the game i suggest they put shadow and silver

The creator said somewhere on a site (a game news site I beleive) that there are gonna be 40 characters will be in Brawl. Also DetErest, Fox has been guarnteed for Brawl. Look for the 2nd Smash Bros. Brawl Trailer.
Also, Sonic would actually be like Captain Falcon AND Fox. Why like Fox too? Because Sonic has been known to, "Fall down fast". He is definately gonna wall-jump. As for special moves that involve guns or magic, he can contain enemies in white orbs. Or maybe he can do a killer combo with B. Well,let's just see what the creator of SSBB does.
Just as a response to the first comment, if they had Sonic I bet one of his secondary colors would be a black and red scheme (my friend and I were dreaming up scenarios and characters for a sequel to SSBM called Super Smash Bros. War after getting Melee).
I was just reading the October addition of EGM and it says that Miyamoto has interest in Sonic in Brawl.
