Fire Emblem Duel...
No official word yet on whether Fire Emblem's Marth or Roy will return in Super Smash Bros Brawl, but the fan popularity of this pair is enormous.Roy quickly became one of my favorite fighters, but other players swear by Marth. Which one's your favorite? And could one of these swordsmen be chopped from the roster in favor of the other?

Personally I liked Roy better, for his sheer strength though loss of speed compared to his counter part, Marth.
I wouldn't mind if they both got axed and replaced by Hector. (Pun; though not intentional, acknowledged.)
Marth is so much better. He is faster, is stronger with his blade's sweet spots, doesn't fall as fast, has better spikes/meteor smashes, easier to control...
Only better point Roy has is his weight, as far as I know. I rather have Marth to return than Roy, really.
I feel that they will both get the axe (ha!) but if I'm being honest, they weren't the best fighters (for me anyway)

Okay. I rememeber Masahiro Sakurai say he may add Japanese characters to Brawl. And if so,I'd say both of them should return. But I prefer Roy for his strength. But Marh is as good because of his fast movements,perfect for combo-ing. Well,.there's gotta be Fire Emblems characters,because I know there's a stage of Fire Emblem.
roy is much better than marth but i think that both of them wont return in brawl
For me, they both suck. I mean almost none of their attacks are powerful and their Up+B attack only goes upword so I hope they both get axed!!!
personally, i hope they don't get axed. since nintendo already has them coded out or whatnot they should be pretty easy to put into the game. i like doctor mario the best. cape shit ftw.
I want both Marth and Roy in Brawl.
I would also like to see them both return, but I highly doubt it since they have the same moves. If one did happen to come back though, I would like it to be Roy. Fox was my first character so I was used to being fast (running as well as falling) and getting right into the fray, so Roy is a better choice for me since his attack is the strongest in the middle of his blade. I admit Marth is faster, and seems to be able to pull his attacks off faster, but he floats too much for me, and I would have to change my fighting style quite a bit from fighting with Fox and Capt. Falcon.
Plus Roys' flare blade is a lot stronger, he sets his opponents on fire with every hit and he talks more, Marth is too quiet. :)
Still, hopefully they can both be back.
I like Roy the best because of his better attacks. Plus, Roy's my favorite character. I never really used Marth, I only used him to get Roy, and his trophies, then he kinda just sat in the dust.
Both. The reason? It wouldn't make much sense to just axe one of them instead of the other one. If the both got axed, the same principles would come back to haunt us.
well, Marth is actually a way better character, although Roy isn't so bad. Marth should come back, and roy should too.
They should both be back and i think they are. But i like Roy better.
I'm a major Marth fan, because he's faster (and cuter than) Roy...
But I want them both to come back.
marth is in but not roy they were going put roy in there is uncomplete character data of roy on the SSBB disc.

Both are great. It's a great idea to have their strongest possible hit in different places of the sword.
By the way, Det Erest died, didn't he? Even in that case, that is no excuse for deleting detstar.com.
